Following Jesus where He leads!

In 2019, as we were preparing to return to America for the holidays, the Holy Spirit prompted us both separately to give up our apartment and put our things in storage. We were planning on returning to Ukraine in March of 2020, but God knew better!  With the advent of Covid-19 in 2020, then my diagnosis of small-bowel cancer in 2021 and then with the war in Ukraine in 2022, it was simply God's foreknowledge and plan and that we were not soon to return.

But that is not the end. Now that I'm recovered from my surgery with a great prognosis of many years ahead of me, we are following Jesus as he leads us in this new season. During the past 4 years, we've not been idle!  Laura's children's book "What do they say?" has been translated into Ukrainian, Russian and Spanish and has been taken into a number of countries as an evangelistic tool. It was also distributed to 1500 refugee families in Ukraine!

I was also able to build an online school in Russian and English, with the first course being a 10 week video course on The Return of Jesus. We will be adding the Ukrainian language sometime in 2024. The school is called To Know Jesus More.

Currently, we are partnering with OneEleven Global, a missions organization focused on training and sending laborers to build missional communities of worship and prayer everywhere! We are excited as we work together to build a local prayer room expression as well as go with teams to other states and countries proclaiming the beauty of Jesus, helping to deepen their relationship with Him and activate individuals and congregations in singing the word while strengthening their worship and prayer.
